Christmas Mantel decor ideas using black, red, white and buffalo check!

If you know me well, you know all I want for Christmas is more buffalo check! (You can get this pillow cover here in my shop! Or get it on a mug too!)

Also, if you know me you know I had to change up just a FEW things with my Christmas mantel this year! The first being my new sign from Kirkland’s! I knew this pop of red was going to be so pretty against the white and be the perfect focal point. You can find the sign here.

I also fell in love with these cute stockings from Target (seen here) because hello…they are buffalo check! The cute stocking tags came from Painter Place Home co (mine are size small). Get the stockings here and the tags here. (please note she does sell out quick every year on the tags).Christmas mantel decor ideas using buffalo check!

I kept my 2 little flocked trees on each end of the Christmas mantel. They came from Marshall’s a few years back and I just love them!

I felt like it wasn’t quite enough with just those, so I added a vase I already had with some red berries and then 2 little buffalo check trees from Hobby Lobby. I thought it made the perfect vignette on each end!

You can see in this blog post here exactly how I hang my garland and what I use in it once it’s hung. It’s easy peasy and I love the flocked look. You can get it here and it’s SO inexpensive!Christmas mantel decor ideas using buffalo check!

Last but not least, we can’t forget the floor! I had to use my cute buffalo check trees from Old Time Pottery of course! I paired them with an olive bucket with some winter greens and birch logs to complete the look.Christmas mantel decor ideas using buffalo check!

I’m very happy with how it came together and I can’t wait to hear what you all think of my Christmas mantel decor this year! What will you be doing on yours?! Christmas mantel decor ideas using buffalo check!

Until next time…

I love the country look of the drop cloth curtains. I am surprised at how good they look, and I think they are perfect with the buffalo check items and the red accents. Great job! I am getting eager to decorate now but will wait until after Thanksgiving! Have a very Merry Christmas!

I am having such a hard time with my mantle. The DVD player, satellite box, wii are all on my mantle. If I put anything in front of them they won’t work. They are ugly and the cords show.
