Lets talk Christmas gift wrap…

I DO NOT like wrapping presents.

I am not good at the task. At all.

If you look close, it looks like a 5 year old with bad scissor skills wrapped said presents.

I dread it every year and tend to use a lot of gift bags to compensate for my lack of skill.

BUT…I have discovered a trick to fool the masses!!

It’s alllll in the gift wrap!! CUTE, CUTE, gift wrap!!

I decided I was going to up my game this year and get some really cute and coordinating wrapping paper, bows and gift bags. It of course had to match my Buffalo Check inspired living room! So, black, whites and reds is what I was focused on.

Well, I hit the jackpot at HomeGoods one day and found my wrapping paper and some gift bags. I knew I was well on my way.

I found some cute red and black buffalo check wrapping items on Amazon for you guys!

So, I spent some time wrapping them like a 5 year old. Then slapped some bows on there to coordinate. Already I was liking them better than I had in years past.

Here are a few examples of how NOT to wrap presents! Notice how not perfect these are. And really, they look worse in person. haha!

I added the coordinating bows and even that made a world of difference!

I put them under my tree and I bet unless I hadn’t told you up here above, you wouldn’t have guessed how bad I am at wrapping presents! Because my trick of using cute paper and bows worked!

They look great under the tree, and hopefully people will bust into them so fast that they don’t notice the 5 year old skills behind the wrapping 🙂

So, don’t forget…when you stink at wrapping gifts like me…GET CUTE PAPER AND BOWS AND YOU WILL TRICK EVERYONE!! They will be so focused on that that they will overlook all of your rookie mistakes!
