Looking for an easy solution to organize your Christmas cards this year? Look no further! This simple DIY project is something anyone can do!
I was looking for a way to display my Christmas cards this year that wouldn’t take up a lot of space. What I had used in the past was in what is now our mudroom area, so I needed another solution. I wanted to be able to have them out so I could look at them and others could too.
That’s when I decided I wanted them on my coffee table. But, I wanted the Christmas cards to be organized and not just laying in a pile. So, here is what I did…
Enjoy my simple DIY Christmas card project using a key ring and ribbon!
Supplies you will need:
Christmas Cards
2-3 types of holiday ribbon (buffalo check was my preference this year!)
I found a pack of key rings, similar to these here. The bigger you can find them the better if you get a lot of Christmas cards.
I started by punching holes in the top corner of each card and just putting them on the key ring.
Once they were all on there, I closed the key ring.
I then attached my 3 ribbons. Starting with the most wide ribbon first, I just tied this one in a knot (not a bow)
Next, I added the black and white plaid ribbon and tied it in a regular bow. This gave a layered look with the 2 ribbons.
Lastly, I added my small buffalo check ribbon. I tied it in a small bow to create the final layered look.
This was SO quick and SO easy! I promise even the most non crafty person could do this!
Look how cute they look styled in my tray on my coffee table! And it will be easy to add cards to it as they come in the mail!
