Navy? For fall? Why not? I use Navy as an accent color in my dining room year round, so when I was planning out my fall décor I just knew I wanted to incorporate it in somehow.
You don’t have to always go with the traditional way of decorating for the seasons! See what I did to get the look of this Navy Blue fall dining room!
I did have to do a little DIY to complete this look. You can read about my painted Target Dollar Spot Pumpkins here. The bigger Navy pumpkins came orange from Walmart, so I painted them Navy and then did a dry brush technique over them.
I wanted to use this big white pumpkin that I got a few years ago from Marshall’s as the center and focal point, then have pumpkins just cascading from there for my fall dining room this year.
I used a garland I had from hobby lobby and just went to town creating a pumpkin paradise on my table!
For my place settings, I used chargers and dishes I already owned and just added the simple Navy Blue pumpkins from Target Dollar Spot. I love a simple yet cute look on a table!
Last but not least, I DID decide to keep a couple of my toilet paper pumpkins in here. Yes, I said toilet paper 🙂 You can read all about that easy DIY project here!
I didn’t have to break the bank to get this look this year in my fall dining room. I already owned all the pumpkins except any Navy Blue ones! (And DIY helped keep that cost down too!)
Let me know what you think in the comments! What color do you do in your dining room for fall?
Until next time…

I’m so glad!! Thanks!
Luv the navy! My house is coastal decor, so I was trying to stay neutral for Fall. I got those navy pumpkins at Target too and was also able to find a suede navy one:) When I went back a few days later, the navy were gone so I bet others have the same idea as we do. Thanks for sharing!
Yes, they got picked over so fast here too! Your house sounds beautiful!!
I absolutely love this. Can you tell me about your chargers? Size, material, where purchased?
They are navy blue chargers from Hobby Lobby! Thanks!
