It’s that time, Christmas is over and it leaves me saying “What’s next?”
These simple Winter decorating ideas for your home will inspire you to leave the twinkle and the snowflakes out just a little longer!
To be totally honest, each year is different with what I do in my home in January and it is 100% based on my MOOD! Lol. If I’m feeling full blow winter, that’s what I do. Just splashes of winter? Yep, I’ll do that. Pack it all away? That’s ok too!
This year I was really craving bringing some of my everyday decor back out, but also wanted to leave some winter touches too. So that’s what I did…a combo!
Let’s start in the hearth room! (A sitting area off our kitchen)
In there I knew I wanted to keep up the 2 trees on either side of the fireplace, because the twinkle at night just fills me with JOY!
My cute snowflake pillows from the December pillow cover club went in the chairs and then just a few small winter touches on the fireplace.
But, I really kept a lot of the mantel decor more of an everyday look and I LOVE IT! Adding the wintery greenery helped bring in that winter element up top.
Of course over here, I had to add my new January pillow covers from the club! I AM OBSESSED!
They are layered with some cute ones I found at TJMaxx recently.
PICTURES COMING SOON ONCE I’VE DONE THE REVEAL
To me, this room screams cozy with a splash of winter. What do ya think?!
Moving on to the living room, I kept my garland up from Kirklands and added these gold amazon bells!
Did a cute basket that just screams cozy winter!
On my bookshelves, I decided to do a mix of everyday, winter and of course incorporated some family pics as well!
All in all, these winter touches are making me happy for now until I decided it’s time for winter to go!
What do you think of these simple Winter decorating ideas?! Hope it inspires you to leave a tree or two out, or whatever brings you JOY!
