Are you ready for the cutest little Christmas DIY you ever did see?! I hope so!
This Dollar Tree Christmas DIY using paper doilies is seriously so cute and will make the perfect addition to your holiday decor!
For this project, run don’t walk to your local Dollar Tree and grab a package of their paper doilies! If you can’t find these, I’m guessing ANY will work!
For my surface, I’m using a 9×12 panel board from Amazon. You could totally get creative and use anything for your surface!
I’m using Deco Art paint Raw umber, desert cactus and snow…but again, make this part your own!
The only other thing you will need is something for a trunk…I’m using a little spindle from Woodpeckers crafts!
Let’s get started…
First, I painted my board white. Then I did a faux distressing technique with some brown paint. I will link the video at the end that shows the step by step on how I did this!
Next it was time to turn those doilies into magic! To create the shape of the tree, grab one of of each size from the Dollar Tree pack.
Fold in half, then fold in half again. This will create a triangle like shape that will form our tree!
Next I went in with some green paint and did a light dry brushing technique over each piece.
Once done, I glued my trunk down and glued each doily starting with the largest one at the bottom. That’s it!
