When the crafty mood strikes, it’s best that you GO WITH IT! I was going through my craft stash the other day and as soon as I saw this little truck, I knew I couldn’t hold myself back from painting it right then!
This painted truck for Spring was a fun and easy DIY and ended up looking really cute in our mudroom area too! I hope it inspires you!
The wood truck itself came from Michael’s in their Spring wood cutout section. How cute is it?!
I started off by painting 2 coats of this color that I’m loving called Sea Glass. I went ahead and painted the entire thing even though I knew some of it would be covered.
Almost forgot that what I really did first was this! I took some buffalo check scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby and managed to cut some “eggs” out to fit the existing wood eggs. I used mod podge to attach them (after I painted the whole thing).
Of course I had to add some polka dots to the other eggs with my spouncer!
Last but not least, I used some stamps to stamp the words Fresh eggs on my painted truck, added some burlap flowers to the wheels and took some white paint to highlight some areas too! Easy peasy!
Here’s how it turned out! What do you think of my painted truck for Spring?!
This ended up being a cute little area this Spring and I love passing it by every day! The big bunny on wood was a DIY project that I did over in my decorating community this year too!
Hope you get inspired to get creative and crafty!
Until next time…

Stacey,
Regarding hair cutting, it’s not that hard. Do you have attachments for the clippers? Use the two to three inch one.
If you don’t want it that short just go around his ears and back of head.
I am a home hair cutter and mine are easy as everyone gets buzzed.
I love Tyler’s hair. I can tell he is a joy. I really enjoy your posts!
